Drop

How it works

Share what you build.

With AI, anyone at STRV can build a page in minutes. STRV Drop is where those pages go when someone else needs to see them: behind a password, owned by someone, and gone when they’re no longer needed.

The problem

Building got easy. Sharing safely didn’t. The quickest ways to send a page come with risks nobody signed up for:

  • Public by default

Free hosting links work for anyone who finds them. Client names, numbers and ideas end up one forwarded message away from the wrong person.

  • Online forever

Nobody remembers to take a quick prototype down. Months later it is still up, still shareable, still showing work that has moved on.

  • No owner

A file in an email or a link from a personal account has no one at STRV responsible for it, and no way to switch it off.

Three steps

  1. Build it

Make your page however you like: with an AI tool, a coding agent, or by hand. If it opens in a browser, it works.

  2. Drop it

Upload the file or folder here, or ask your coding agent to “deploy this to STRV Drop”.

  3. Share it

You get a link and a password. Send them separately to whoever should see the page.

What you can count on

  • Always behind a password

There is no public mode. You can reset the password whenever you need to.

  • Gone when it’s done

Pages switch off after 7 days unless you choose longer, up to 90. Extend or bring one back anytime.

  • One link, every version

Upload a new version and the link stays the same. Roll back to an earlier one in a click.

  • Off in one click

The owner can turn a page off instantly. STRV admins can see and switch off any page.

When to use it

Great for

  • Prototypes and click-through demos
  • Previews for clients and stakeholders
  • Pitch and proposal pages
  • Small internal tools and reports

Not for

  • Production websites or apps
  • Passwords, keys or other secrets
  • Anything that needs a server or database
  • Pages that need to stay up for good
